COPD

If you have had COPD exacerbation in the last 12 months that required medical attention, you may qualify to participate in a clinical research study. We are testing new investigational therapies to find out if they can reduce airway inflammation and improve COPD symptoms. This website can help you and your doctor decide if one of the current COPD research studies could be an option for you. 

• Are 40 years or older.
• Are currently prescribed daily inhaled maintenance therapy, with a stable dose for at least 3 months for COPD.
• Have had at least one COPD exacerbation in the past 12 months.

• Have a moderate or severe COPD exacerbation or a lower respiratory tract infection (e.g., neumonia).
• Lung transplant surgery or lung volume reduction surgery.
• Have a severe, acute, or uncontrolled cardiovascular condition.
